Surfers Paradise, the Gold Coast's (and Australia's)famous tourist playground and shopping is only 15 minutes drive north or head 15 minutes south of the NSW/QLD border and you will find the quiet pristine beaches of Pottsville and Cabarita, or the soothing rainforests of Mount warning National Park.

Another 20 minutes south from there and you have Australia's alternative lifestyle capital in the Byron Bay area. Heading 10 minutes drive west from Coolangatta will set you into the subtropical mountain landscapes of the Currumbin Rock Pools and 25 minutes drive west gets you to Mount Tambourine and the Beautiful Natural Arch Waterfalls.

With Coolangatta International Airport, the almost completed train connection to Brisbane, and the new freeway bypass right next door, you will experience easy access to everything this area has to offer.
